Independent contractors miss out on employment benefit packages, minimum wage, and a stable paychecks. On this week’s Millennial Minute we decided to debate this topic and get to the bottom of each political parties’ argument. Pavlina Osta, our liberal commentator, is in favor of making Uber drivers into employees and providing them with employee rights. Conversely, Gavin Wax, our conservative commentator, believes that making Uber drivers employees will do more harm to the driver than good.
