4:52Now PlayingWe’re well into the school year and there are still children who attend fully virtual learning without the proper resources they need to achieve the education they deserve. In Central Harlem, Tanesha Grant decided that that needed to change.
Bold Life’s Oni Higgins talks to Grant about the non-profit she founded, Parents Supporting Parents NY, and the work they have done since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. The organization’s mission is to support and advocate for parents who feel that their voices aren’t being heard.
Another way the organization helps is through giving laptops to remote learning students in need. Since the beginning of the pandemic, PSPNY has given laptops to students in Harlem, Brooklyn, The Bronx, and Queens.
