Happy President's Day! With former President Donald Trump being impeached after his term was over, there has been a lot of debate over whether or not it’s even necessary to continue.
So for today’s Millennial Minute we wanted to ask, should we move on from Trump? Bold host David Grasso moderates a bipartisan debate between Turning Point USA contributor Erin Elmore and Democratic strategist Max Burns.
Elmore states we can’t look at the media’s response to what happened on January 6th without looking at the Black Lives Matter protests that occurred for 8 months during 2020, and she also states that Trump’s speech on January 6th doesn’t meet the same threshold for incitement according to Brandenburg vs Ohio.
Burns states that moving on is the same as saying we have cancer but the surgery would be too tough on our body so we should just let it go and see what happens, and maybe it will go away itself. One thing we know about extremism is that it doesn’t just go away.
