The first thing Mitchell says is not to be afraid in the expertise of others. In her experience if she wanted to do something and do that thing well, she wasn’t afraid to pay someone to tell her how to do that. Do you want to make six figures? Do you want to make seven figures? Don’t be afraid to hire someone who has that who can show you how to get there.
For instance, Mitchell made a $97 investment which made her a $100,000 investment the very next month. How do you turn $97 into $100K?! How this happened was Mitchell wanted to get her business as a life coach out into the media. How was she going to let the world know who she was and what she had to offer? She found a program that told her how to be on TV For $97. She took a risk, learned how to be on radio, podcast, TV, and gained enough exposure to earn $100K through her business as a Life Coach.
Why do you think people stick with a job they think they need vs the job that they want? Mitchell says that this is most often because people will think that there might not be something better for them out there. If you want something more or better or different, that “thing” has to exist. You’re not crazy, you’re right.
It’s not an easy mindset shift to make! Mitchell says that to get there you need to start identifying as that person who already has their dream job. Once you really identify as that person who you want to be, you will start to bring in people and opportunities at that level. But if you don’t you will not be allowing these people and opportunities to enter your life.
