Why is it so hard for small businesses and startups in today’s world to find startup funding and venture capital?

Mark McNally starts off by telling us that the ecosystem has changed these days. It used to be where there was a natural funding path. But the steps in how to get startup funding in 2021 is completely different because of the amount of capital and startup funding coming from wall street these days.

There is so much startup funding and venture capital being sent to early-stage startups in today’s world, and if you’re not the next unicorn you shouldn’t expect to receive any very easily if at all.

What does this mean for startup funding for small businesses in America? Mark McNally says “The Elon Musks of the world won’t need to go to Silicon Valley to find venture capital”. Small Businesses and startups in other countries won’t need to come to America to find any sort of venture capital or startup funding because they just need to stay in their own country with funding becoming more democratized and available online.

Democratizing of venture capital will be a standard with crowdfunding and angel inventors happening much more frequently.
