Joining Shay Sayss today is the mother daughter duo Alena Galan and Marsha Galan here to talk about their inspiring story. Alena Galan is a singer and reality star, and Marsha Galan is a reality star and her mother. Both are featured on the TLC show, sMothered.
How did you get cast on sMothered?
Alena Galan says that she was in her dorm, and looking for more opportunities to break out in the entertainment industry. It was then that her mother, Marsha Galan, emailed the casting notice for TLC’s sMothered, and Alena knew that it was perfect. At first she thought she wouldn’t get cast, but it was a perfect in and they got cast on the show.
How was it like filming sMothered?
Alena filmed sMothered while she was finishing her MBA and her undergrad degree in Marketing. Marsha Galan would pick her up from school from her dorm, they would run off to film the show, and then she would take Alena back to her dorm when they were done.
