Joining Philip Michael today is Luis Perez, the CEO of Remoov, a startup with a mission of making it simpler to declutter and upcycle.
What is Remoov and how does it work?
Nowadays, collecting clutter is so easy to do, but it can be so hard to get rid of. And out of all types of clutter, furniture clutter is the highest amount on average out there. That’s where Remoov comes in. Remoov is a decluttering and upcycling service.
Remoov will also take any of your items and resell them for you on The Local Flea, a flea market website, at competitive prices.
In essence, Remoov is there for people to gain control back of their space, and/or find better purpose for their items.
What is upcycling?
Upcycling is finding a new use for something? It’s a way to give an item new life. For Remoov, it can even be how they can give an item a new home. We can all benefit from upcycling.
What does Remoov do differently than other clutter companies?
What’s so unique about Remoov, according to Luis Perez, is that they do something that no other service is doing. They’re able to come and upcycle your items (through their site The Local Flea) so you can reclaim your space.
Are you finding success in the world of VC (venture capital)?
Yes! They have seen some VC success, and are looking to expand their markets. Remoov is also building backend products.
