When people think about careers and social media, they probably only think about LinkedIn. What if I told you that TikTok is joining this sphere, with something they’re calling Tik Tok Resumes.

Would you post your resume on TikTok? Companies like Chipotle, WWE, Target and others are teaming up with TikTok resumes, where you will be able to submit a video resume for openings at these companies. You can do this right on TikTok.
With the current labor shortage, this could be an innovative way to bring new talent to these companies. Many already use social media to learn interview tips, resume formatting, job postings and so much more. So why not get hired on TikTok too?
But many people are hesitant because they think TikTok should just be fun or they don’t want to share their personal information out there in video format. If you’re worried about that, you can create a ‘professional’ account that will be private and separate from your ‘fun’ account.
This would be great for someone who doesn’t have a great resume on paper but can really shine when they get the chance to create a video about their experiences.
