More employers are offering to pay for the commute to the office along with other incentives. While many people can be very productive at home, many companies want their employees back in the office. Or at least some times.
Many of us don’t live close to our offices and, according to a YouGov, survey, commuting is the number one complaint of employees. They found that 62% of individuals working from home don’t miss their commute to work because it was too long.
The employment market has changed radically. Many people are quitting their jobs, so to keep workers around they are being offered perks to increase their satisfaction: gift cards, free meals, child care, and so many others.
