Walmart is the largest private employer in the country. They have announced that they will be paying their employee’s tuition. All you have to do is work part-time or full-time with Walmart and Sam's Club.
College debt relief has been an extremely important point of discussion for both Republicans and Democrats. Joe Biden during his 2020 presidential campaign made promises to cancel at least $10,000 of student debt per person. However, Biden hasn’t been able to accomplish this yet.
Similar to what happened with minimum wage, the government didn’t raise it so many private companies raised their own minimum wage. Perhaps, the same will happen with student loans. Thanks to the free market, other private companies may follow in Walmart's footsteps. Maybe Amazon will take it a step further and pay their employees to go to schools.
