When dining out, customers are met with a welcome and a proof of vaccination. More and more restaurants around the US are asking for vaccination cards. These proof of vaccination mandates are one of the more aggressive moves put forth to help prevent the further spread of the virus.
Customers can provide a proof of vaccine with either a physical copy of their vaccination card or a photo of it. New York City provides a quick and easy way of doing it through a vaccine passport app called NYC COVID Safe. This vaccine passport app allows you to save images of your vaccination card and display it when needed.
Other states have also started their own version of these vaccine passport apps. They do this in hopes of finding an accessible way to allow people to eat in restaurants.
