Your favorite candy bars will be a few cents more expensive at the Dollar Tree. As a result of inflation, Dollar Tree prices are going to rise as inflation challenges the company. Dollar Tree, the popular American store chain known for its discount prices on a variety of products all at the price of a $1, will be transformed into Dollar Tree Plus stores, which means they are breaking the 1 dollar barrier and will have higher prices on items.
Dollar Tree CEO Michael Witynski says, “Our brand promise is that customers get great value for what they spend at Dollar Tree… whether it’s $1.00, $1.25, or $1.50.” The company also plans to add $3 to $5 items to broaden the selection of choices at their stores. This includes home decor, apparel, and arts in the near future.
The Federal Reserve expects inflation as the US economy gets back to normal. The Federal Reserve also says that the near-term inflation increase should pave a way for healthier and lasting price growth. Mant are upset that Dollar Tree is raising its prices above $1
