Facebook has officially changed its name to Meta! Check out the video to learn why!

Facebook is so obsessed with the metaverse that it has officially changed its name to Meta. The CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg made the announcement at the Facebook Connect Augmented and Virtual Reality Conference. Is this just a move by the company to distract everyone from the recent negative attention it has been getting?

We have WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram, which are all part of the Facebook family. So just from that perspective, it makes sense to have a parent company like Meta that would be above it all and that it ties into the Metaverse. This is also not the first time something like this happened. Tech giant Google did the same thing with its parent company Alphabet.

Do you agree or do you think this isn’t going to average out? Let us know in the comments below.
