Remember how excited people were when the new iPhone was released? People camped out overnight outside Apple stores in order to be among the first to get their hands on the new iPhone.
That isn't something you hear about very often nowadays. Is the iPhone now boring?
With each new iPhone version, we receive a few new features but a significant price increase. Apple hasn't included headphones or a charging block with the current model since 2021. According to Forbes, the two iPhone models due out later this year will have a $100 price rise.
So, what is Apple's game plan? Their design hasn't changed significantly in decades, which may be on purpose. By making a hazardous design change, Apple does not want to risk losing its following in the smartphone market. Inflation and growing production costs are to blame for price hikes. Unless the general public intervenes, we may become accustomed to the same boring iPhone at the same price.
