Prior to taking out student loans, you should set a few goals for yourself. This will help you save money in the long term. By taking a gap year, you will be able to enter the workforce sooner.
Due to staffing shortages, entry-level professionals are in high demand, and you may be able to get your foot in the door somewhere that will recruit you for a larger role once you graduate. Furthermore, working for a year might provide you with a steady income that will assist you in paying for your education.
Obtaining employment or even a paid internship is also beneficial to your resume. And it's simply another thing that prospective companies will consider when you apply for jobs after graduation. After high school, having a little additional time also allows you to continue applying for scholarships without feeling rushed.
