What exactly can you accomplish in the metaverse? So, here's a quick rundown of how to get started in the metaverse and what you can do after you've arrived.
The metaverse is a collection of virtual 3D worlds linked together. Decentraland is the most popular universe in the metaverse at the moment. The notion is that numerous worlds will live under one metaverse platform in the future.
Keep in mind that this is all done through a computer, and Decentraland does not currently support virtual reality headsets.
You'll need a crypto wallet to get started with Decentraland. There are numerous options for installing a browser extension. Then go to the Decentraland website to learn how to connect your wallet and create an avatar. You'll also need to purchase mana, the virtual world's money.
What can you do now that you've arrived at Decentraland? Many players are purchasing land, which is analogous to purchasing a real estate plot in the real world, except that owning property in Decentraland entails owning a set of coordinates stored in the Blockchain.
As a result, when you buy land, you effectively become the owner of an NFT that represents that plot. And there are always activities and games to participate in.
