Amazon Prime now offers all of the most common generic prescriptions you need for only $5 extra a month. Amazon's RXPass has 50 generic medications, and almost all of the most common medications in America for things like diabetes, high blood pressure, and anxiety are included for the crazy low price of $5 a month.

Here's the bad news: No one who has Medicaid or Medicare can sign up for RXPass, and the service still isn't available in California, Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Washington.

Still, RXPass sounds like an incredible opportunity if you live in the right state and qualify. It also sounds like it's going to start eating away at CVS and Walgreens' profit margins.

Is your next dog going to be a robot? It might sound a little creepy and futuristic, but several brands are soon releasing robotic pets aimed at seniors. So, when you go visit grandma at the old folks home, she might be holding a 'robo' cat, bird, or puppy. They're rechargeable, so you might want to give her a travel plug for her next birthday.

Tombot, one of the companies marketing robopets, says that it's not practical for older folks to take care of live pets, so instead, you can have a fake one to help you with your emotional and mental health. Especially for lonely people reaching the end of their lives- a little sad. Hasbro, the toy maker, has been working on some robopets of their own.

Talk about taking Tamagotchis to the next level– you remember those 90s, silly, primarily-digital pets- I don't even know how to describe them- we all had and killed? I killed several, for the record. So, back to the robopets. Would you have a fake dog? Could you take it to the dog park? I guess that's an interesting question that we probably won't have to deal with until at least 2030.
