Where do you get your news? And is it fake? News has radically changed, and you probably get your news from a bunch of sources. This new world isn't good or bad; it's just very different. And miss the olden days when established brands were the gatekeepers of the national narrative.

Today, anyone anywhere can go viral. And there's been an explosion of digital brands competing for your eyeballs. This new world offers this diversity of thought, but it's also problematic because a lot of the stuff out there is just garbage. And you have to be extra careful today as a news consumer. I read stuff all the time that just seems wrong.

And a lot of the outlets out there just copypasta stuff or publish things that are just plain fake. Remember, fake news is very profitable, and it works like a charm; many of us fall for it, especially when it panders to our beliefs. This is a reminder: the new decentralized world of news requires you to be a careful consumer.
