YouTube Description
as posted by the channelAirlines are so scammy it's becoming a political talking point. Let's face it: flying in America is generally unpleasant and wildly expensive. And airlines treat us poorly, and they try to extract as much money as possible from us through their confusing policies. All airlines are, of course, not created equal.
Frontier and Spirit are notorious for their exorbitant fees- avoid them if possible. And the Big Four- that's American, United, Delta and Southwest- are getting worse by the day. But despite their breakdown last Christmas, Southwest is likely the most transparent airline out there when it comes to fees. They offer free bags and generally cheery service.
And politicians know how bad airlines have become. And that's why President Biden mentioned holding airlines accountable in the State of the Union. But politicians in Washington have allowed airlines to merge and become monopolies, and they gave them bailouts during the pandemic.
So, if politicians really wanted to make a difference, they should promise to never give another bailout to any airline ever again and to hold them accountable for not caring about our customer experience.
