1:28Now PlayingAre you looking to invest in the artificial intelligence revolution? Well, that can be hard since there are few companies and stocks that are purely AI. But fortunately, there are big-name companies that are building the future of AI within their businesses.
And a lot of them are tech stocks that are way down from last year's highs. Microsoft- yep, the people who brought you the annoying paperclip- are the biggest AI play at the moment. In fact, they just made a $10 billion investment into OpenAI and its incredible product, ChatGPT.
And Microsoft is planning to turn Bing, its search engine, into an AI-powered Google rival. Similarly, Alphabet, aka Google, is already using AI and almost everything it does, and is gearing up for a big challenge to its business from Microsoft.
Meta, aka Facebook, and Amazon are also big AI-driven companies. In fact, Facebook just announced the creation of a new product group inside the company focused on generative AI, a lot like ChatGPT.
And, of course, there are many other businesses that will benefit from the AI revolution. But two stand out in particular: NVIDIA and Taiwan Semiconductor, because computing capacity will need to be beefed up in order to handle the AI revolution.
In the end, almost every big company has AI-driven components of its business. So, if you're looking to invest in the future of AI, the key is to research who is positioning themselves to capture a bigger piece of the AI pie.
