Actress Scarlett Johansson recently spoke out about how she felt that she was “groomed into” playing a “bombshell” during her career beginnings. She continuously found herself cast as the object of male desire during a period when she was trying to cultivate her own star power. She admits that she felt uncomfortable at the time because she was worried that if she didn't play those roles she would never work again. This is a bold confession.

Hollywood is a business that treats artists like objects and its a cruel and brutal place. They have one goal which is making money and isn't afraid to hurt others or to throw others under the bus in order to achieve its goal. It chews up and spits out artists like anything if it'll benefit them financially. Most people think that Hollywood is a dream come true but in reality it's the other way around where dreams are destroyed by Hollywood. Getting into entertainment is delusional especially for new artists looking for a break. The abuse and corruption that happens in Hollywood will make you wonder why it exists.
