They drink, they party, and they dance. For a day or two, millions of people get to live out their wildest fantasies without any dealing with the consequences. But today we are going to talk about Carnival and a lesson that is still relevant today and relevant when it comes to tempting God by mocking HIM.
Most people in the world choose to NOT believe that God is real-- for whatever reason. Some people may not hear about Jesus or God at all. Some born-again Christians in the US and other countries are being brainwashed into thinking that everyone should just make up their own belief system and let God take care of them (if they believe in a God at all). But what if someone said that they were going to spend an entire year doing everything in their power to DISOBEY God? Then imagine what would happen when they put on a massive parade where sin was celebrated, and the devil was honored heavily.
In this video, we look at one true story of the famous carnival in Brazil called the Carnival-- a spirit-filled highly Catholic country right before the celebration of Easter.
