Kanye West, now legally known as Ye, is currently facing a serious lawsuit from his former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta. In an amended complaint filed in October 2024, Pisciotta accuses West of drugging and sexually assaulting her during a 2015 studio session co-hosted by Sean "Diddy" Combs. Pisciotta alleges that a drink was laced with an unidentified drug at West’s request, which left her disoriented. She claims West later admitted to "hooking up" with her that night, an incident she has no memory of until years later.

This lawsuit follows a prior complaint Pisciotta filed in June 2024, which accused West of wrongful termination and sexual harassment. In that earlier complaint, she claimed that West had sent explicit content and behaved inappropriately while she worked for him between 2021 and 2022.

A similar pattern can be seen in a case involving Sean "Diddy" Combs. His legal troubles also began with a lawsuit, which then opened the door to additional claims, investigations, and broader allegations. In Diddy's case, initial accusations led to heightened scrutiny, uncovering further misconduct, and the civil suit eventually became intertwined with potential criminal implications. The civil legal actions paved the way for a more detailed investigation that exposed a broader pattern of behavior.

The same scenario could unfold for Kanye West. While Pisciotta’s lawsuit currently involves claims of drugging and sexual assault, as well as wrongful termination, if additional evidence or other victims come forward, West could face criminal charges. If her claims that West knowingly drugged her without her consent are supported by evidence, criminal charges such as sexual assault or administering a controlled substance could be brought against him. Such charges, if proven, could result in West's arrest and possible imprisonment.
