YouTube Description
as posted by the channelWe just got some HUGE Supreme Court news. The high court will hear a new gay rights vs. religious liberty and free speech case that's very similar to the famous Masterpiece Cakeshop case with Christian baker Jack Phillips. This one involves Lorie Smith, a website designer, who doesn't want to design custom websites for same-sex weddings, abortions, and other things that violate her beliefs.
In this #BasedPolitics video, Hannah Cox & Brad Polumbo break down the new case, 303 Creative LLC v. Elenis, and offer nuanced analysis. Even as a gay man, Brad argues that free speech rights must be protected, but that we can also broadly protect LGBT rights as well. Hannah offers a Christian perspective and explains why while she defends the rights of those who have a traditionalist Christian take on homosexuality, she doesn't agree with it at all.
