as posted by the channelSunday's battle at Fort Ticonderoga's 2018 American Revolutionary War reenactment event, called Defiance and Independence, saw the British army seize the fort and pursue the rebel army to the waters of Lake George! Their rearguard put up a ferocious fight, and managed to secure the escape of some rebel forces, but the righteousness of British arms soon won the day! In this battle, the 54th Regiment of Foot fought alongside the men of the 42nd Regiment of Foot.
