7:20Now PlayingEarly this December, the 54th Regiment of Foot took part in a "Winter Walk" at the Putnam Memorial State Park, in Redding CT. The event saw a public tour caught in the middle of a struggle between local rebel forces and raiders from the 'Flaming 54th,' on a mission there to destroy rebel stockpiles and cause a general nuisance in the countryside. After a brief skirmish with rebel forces, a great number of prisoners were taken, including one Irishman suspected of being a deserter from the Crown Forces.
This video is a short cut of some of the action from the event, and then of our dear and peerless Lieutenant General Gardner harassing his prizes, to great amusement of the crowds.
