Former President Barack Obama attempted to destroy the reputation of officers in the country, directly causing them to be targeted and killed.
This is not something I read in a book, but something I know as a former police officer.
I saw the rhetoric cause people to be more violent towards us.
The solution is spreading better rhetoric from the top down.
Starting with President Donald Trump.
Also, teach your children to love and appreciate police officers.
Police departments need to make sure their officers are supported and well trained.
Only then we can hope that the Police will not get targeted as much.
We all are aware that it is inevitable that the police will be killed, but let it be for a darn good reason.
