Billboard Campaign Update
*I have been in contact with Clear Channel and they are amazing. They have a partnership with the FBI in regard to the billboards and are happy to prepare billboards with:
-Porch Guy's Face
-$1.2 million reward mentioned
-In Spanish/English
They also said they could change the current billboards they have erected with the FBI's concurrence.
However, the FBI said:
*They will not be changing the current billboards they have erected.
*The FBI supports new billboards, but will not fund.
While the Guthrie family has supported billboards in the case, I want to make this Crystal Clear: The Guthrie family never suggested a Go Fund Me. That was my idea if the FBI did not want to pay.
This was an initiative I started and to be clear, the Guthries should not be looked at negatively because I suggested a Go Fund Me to erect the billboards. They never said they wouldn't pay because the question was never asked.
I believe billboards with Porch Guy on them could help solve the case.
I don't believe anyone saw Nancy after the abduction and for this reason, it makes sense to have Porch Guy on the billboards.
Clear Channel said it takes 2 to 3 weeks to put together a billboard because they can't be electronic per ordinances in the area.
I contacted the FBI because I wanted to make sure they were OK with erecting them and they are.
Saddened that anyone went after the Guthries when they knew nothing about the GFM plan.
I hope we can get this initiative off the ground.
It's all about finding Nancy and getting a bad guy arrested.
