Amnesty Intl Finally Joins World in Condemning Apartheid, Israel Freaks Out, w/ Ali Abunimah

Human rights group Amnesty International came out finally with a position that Israel is “committing the crime of apartheid against Palestinians.” While Human Rights Watch, Israeli human rights group B’Tselem, and myriad civil society groups and organizations worldwide have long held this view on Israel, Amnesty is joining the chorus of voices putting pressure on the country.

Ali Abunimah, director of The Electronic Intifada & author of “The Battle for Justice In Palestine,” explains what this means for Palestinians and the geopolitical battle over Israel.
