Yousef Mawry - Last week, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, the leader of Yemen’s Ansar Allah, announced that the country’s armed forces would be expanding their attacks on Israel-bound ships from the Red Sea region to all of the Indian Ocean. Ansar Allah and the Yemeni Armed Forces have been carrying out attacks against the ships associated with Israel since November last year, in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza. Yousef Mawry, a journalist and a political analyst based in Yemen, discusses Yemen’s steadfast solidarity with Palestine, despite the ongoing retaliatory attacks carried out by the US and UK.
