1:17Now PlayingOn Sunday, protestors in London rallied outside of the Ministry of Justice in solidarity with the Palestine Action prisoners, demanding government action as their hunger strike enters its seventh week.
The six prisoners are being held on pre-trial detention, with some accused of breaking into a factory operated by Elbit, Israel’s largest weapons manufacturer, while others allegedly broke into and vandalized a Royal Air Force base. Two of the hunger strikers were hospitalized today, and conditions for all are rapidly deteriorating.
The hunger strikers are demanding immediate bail, the right to a fair trial, the end to all censorship of their communications, the “deproscription” of Palestine Action as a “terrorist group,” and the shutdown of all Elbit Systems sites across the UK.
