President Miguel Díaz-Canel stated last week the country has gone over three months without receiving oil shipments, forcing the government to rely on limited supplies of solar energy, natural gas, and thermoelectric plants.
On X, Cuba Ministry of Energy and Mines reported,” A total disconnection of the SEN has occurred; the causes are being investigated and protocols for restoration are beginning to be activated.”
