In the buildup to the unprovoked U.S.-Israeli war against Iran, the Iranian opposition in the U.S. diaspora insisted that the attacks would only target the Iranian state. But the evidence from the streets shows a very different reality, with strikes hitting residential areas. The destroyed apartments in East Tehran are yet another indication that the U.S. and Israel are targeting civilian life in violation of international law.
