On Thursday, Cubans celebrated the 65th anniversary of Fidel Castro’s declaration of the socialist nature of the Cuban Revolution following the failed Bay of Pigs invasion in 1961.
President Miguel Diaz-Canel decried U.S. aggression, stating that it was “our duty to prepare ourselves to defend" the revoluton, just as Cubans did in 1961.
