Before the genocide began, journalist and head of Gaza-based 16th October Media Group Wafa Al-Udaini spoke to BT about raising her children under the constant threat of Israeli assaults.
"Our children here don't deserve this, they don't live their childhood," she told us.
Al-Udaini – along with her husband and two children – would be killed a year and a half later in September 2024 when an Israeli airstrike targeted their house in Gaza.
