Then we discuss “new” research being discussed in the New York Times which finds that long telomeres shorten life, a prediction made by Bret over 20 years ago. We discuss hypothesis, theory, science and citation, and observe that “science” doesn’t seem to have learned anything from the giant scientific debacle that was the signature of the Covid era. Finally, we discuss modernity, fertility and feminism, and point out—not for the first time—that we cannot go back, but must go forward with caution and care.
