Hasan Piker and Hank Green might seem like very different creators, but they both reveal something deeper about how progressive men often drift toward centrist or liberal thought bubbles—even outside of politics. Their ideas reflect a kind of disembodied progressivism, where moral and intellectual ideals aren’t always matched by lived or embodied experience. In this video, I unpack how their approaches to power, authenticity, and social responsibility expose the philosophical limits of modern “good guy” progressivism online.
Note: Hank and Hasan are better than MOST content creators when it comes to pushing progressive ideals but they often fall short because (I think) they are lacking a truly embodied experience.
