Blogging can be tricky sometimes right? There are a lot of different terms, different outcomes, different strategies and you should be aware of everything so you can know how to choose the best option for your case.
In this video we're going to talk about affiliate marketing, passive income and some best practices you should be adopting when it comes to blogging.
So, for those who don't know, "Affiliate marketing is a type of performancebased marketing in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought by the affiliate's own marketing efforts. The industry has four core playersthe merchant (also known as 'retailer' or 'brand'), the network (that contains offers for the affiliate to choose from and also takes care of the payments), the publisher (also known as 'the affiliate'), and the customer. The market has grown in complexity, resulting in the emergence of a secondary tier of players, including affiliate management agencies, superaffiliates and specialized third party vendors." And this is just one way of building a passive income empire. There are a lot of different ways of building a passive income and you should be aware of some: affiliate marketing, online business, ads, sponsorship, etc. One of the main reasons I decided to build Simple Programmer was to build this entire passive income empire.
