We like our blurry backgrounds, so usually people just expose with shutter speed, but that does introduce jerky motion that isn't very pleasing results. So the only real solution is to either stop down for less Toneh (illegal) or use an ND filter. ND filters introduce their own problems though, vignetting, color shifts, your lens cap no longer working etc.
Let's test out both a variable ND and a fixed ND1000 to see which is better. Variable ND's usually vignette more, are bigger, and you can't use your lens hood which introduces lens flares. The fixed ND filter depending on the strength might not be perfect for vlogging situations outdoors.
