In the last 24 hours, Russia struck Dnipro with four ballistic missiles, killing 21 people. One of those missiles hit a passenger train, showing that there is truly nowhere safe in Ukraine — not on the front lines, and not even when traveling to see family on the way to Odesa. Russia has increased its attacks on civilians in recent weeks. The number of drones hitting cities each night has doubled since February, and schools, hospitals, maternity wards, and apartment buildings are now at the top of Russia’s hit list.

It can be overwhelming to constantly hear about the darkness coming out of Ukraine — to absorb all this evil and chaos every single day — so I wanted to share some positive news about Ukrainian Rail, its resistance, and what it means for the country.
