In this video I put the U.S. Army’s new NGSW M7A1 Spear 6.8 x 51mm rifle to the test. Can it destroy a Russian BTR or MTLB armored vehicle? Can it punch through Lightly Armored vehicles? We shoot concrete barriers and Level IV body armor, talk armor-piercing ammo, and see what this thing can really do against light armored vehicles. I break down accuracy out to 800 meters, recoil, reliability, gas pressure concerns and why soldiers are worried about 80,000 psi.
