13:45Now PlayingIn this video, we analyze the recent incident involving EliteAir Flight ELZ at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS). On March 4, 2025, a Bombardier Challenger 300 aircraft registered as N283B was attempting to depart for St. Pete–Clearwater International Airport (PIE) when it veered off Runway 36R due to high winds, with gusts reported up to 50 miles per hour. The aircraft came to rest in the grass adjacent to the runway, and fortunately, all passengers and crew members were able to exit safely with no reported injuries. This incident led to a 90-minute closure of the eastern runway, during which airport teams worked diligently to clear debris and ensure safe operations resumed promptly.
