YouTube Description
as posted by the channelA tragic crash took place near Lansing, Michigan when a Hawker 800XP on a post-maintenance test flight entered a stall and plummeted more than 12,000 feet in under a minute.
In this video, Captain Steeeve, a former Navy pilot, breaks down what’s known so far — including ATC communication, flight data, and the audio where the pilot can be heard shouting “Stall recovery! Stall recovery!” moments before impact.
We’ll discuss what a stall test is, how professional test pilots handle them, and what can go wrong when the aircraft doesn’t respond as expected.
Our thoughts are with the families and teams impacted by this devastating loss.
Special thanks to our friends over at VASAviation for collecting the ACT audio. Their work is important to aviation, please go and support them.
