A routine flight from London Heathrow to JFK became a hard-learned lesson for this Virgin Atlantic pilot.
The Boeing 787 followed the taxi instructions correctly until switching radio frequencies WITHOUT being instructed to do so. The Air Traffic Controller proceeded to scold them over the radio.
