as posted by the channelThe bear was known for her agility, striking platinum blond fur with a dark stripe along her back, and frequent roadside sightings, especially in the spring and early summer when dandelions line the Trans-Canada Highway ditches. Bear 178 was known by locals as Nakoda and had become a fixture for Parks Canada's wildlife management team, who often followed the bear from dawn to dusk trying to keep the grizzly out of harm's way.
