Complaints about long grass and weeds are up this year, according to data from the City of Calgary's 311 service. After several dry years, gardens are benefiting from this year's rains, but so are the weeds. Kath Smyth, a horticulturist with the Calgary Horticultural Society, says it's unlike anything she's seen in decades.
