1:00Now PlayingAs of July 2, Albertans who renew their licences and IDs will get a card that includes their health care number and a Canadian citizenship marker. The Alberta government says that by combining this information in one place, Albertans will no longer need to carry multiple pieces of ID and will be better protected against identity fraud.
