Wednesday marked Acorn Canada’s "Beat the Heat" day of action in 11 cities across the country. In Calgary, local members handed out pamphlets, collected signatures and spoke to people about the dangers of extreme heat for low-income Calgarians and their call for a maximum temperature bylaw.
