As she navigated her grief and of their 13-year-old daughter, Taylor said she learned that, although she and her husband had made wills assigning their assets to one another, his RRSP account named a different beneficiary.
Taylor says her husband opened that account before they were married and had their daughter.
But it trumped the will.
