Halifax is moving ahead with plans for the old Memorial Library that will likely include demolition of the municipal heritage building. The Spring Garden Road library opened in 1951 and closed in 2014 when the Central Library opened. The city says demolishing the building is the best option because it's a complicated site, with a burial ground that has never been properly acknowledged. The CBC's Haley Ryan reports.
